I find myself feeling a strange affection for common birds (with the exception of Red-winged Blackbirds and House Sparrows). Both the American Robin and chickens of all kinds (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicken) are two common birds that have a special place in my heart. The Robin’s call is so earnest. The chicken so noble.
I am a dinosaur and birds are my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandchildren.
